💡 Important Transfer Note: How Access to Zermatt Works
Because Zermatt is strictly car-free to protect its environment, private cars and vehicles cannot drive directly into the village. All road transport terminates at the modern transfer hub in Täsch (5 km outside Zermatt). Our private chauffeurs drop you and your luggage directly at Täsch station, where you seamlessly board the 12-minute Matterhorn Gotthard Bahn shuttle straight to Zermatt main station, where electro-taxis or your hotel porter will greet you.
